Changing accommodations whenever we visit allows us to experience the island in a different way every time. We have shared many precious memories with our loved ones here: from Martin’s first visit to Boracay, Ave surprising her house helper with her first ever plane ride, and even bringing baby Tokyo and both our moms here for the first time.

Top 5 Luxury Hotels Off White Beach
Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay
This was one of our chosen accommodations for our first family trip to Boracay with baby Tokyo. Travelling with a baby takes some getting used to but we were fortunate enough to have both our moms come on the trip and help us out. The Crimson staff was also incredibly helpful and accommodating with everything that we needed. It was really easy to access everything here with a baby. It is a very family friendly resort.
Their breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes and cuisines so there is something for everyone. Crimson offers some delicious room service and you can even checkout from your villa which are both so incredibly convenient. They are just one less thing to worry about which is incredibly valuable especially if you are travelling with a baby.
Crimson has an art room with beautiful paintings where you can even take art classes. They also have a fully equipped gym and recreation center with a ping pong table and basketball hoop. They have a kiddie pool, three infinity pools all along with their own private stretch of beach. The sand at the Crimson beach is probably the finest that Martin has ever seen on Boracay, which is saying a lot since Boracay is known for its soft sand. You can’t help but smile while standing on the soft sand in the sunlight with the blue water, greenery, and white hotel around you. It was Martin’s first time staying at Crimson and it definitely won’t be the last.

Shangri-La Hotel Boracay
On the same trip, we decided to extra treat ourselves by staying in one of the best hotels on the island. We wanted to see if Tokyo enjoys vacation just as much as her mom and dad. Shangri-La even provided a baby bed free of charge. Since Shangri-La is one of the most exclusive resorts on the island, even just changing Tokyo’s diaper was a new experience because we had a gorgeous view to do it by! The entire resort gives off a Bali or Thailand tropical vibe but all in the Philippines.
More than just being where we took Tokyo for her first trip to Boracay, this was also where Martin decided to celebrate his 30th birthday. It was nice just to be on the island again but Shangri-La was the perfect spot to celebrate as it always pays attention to even the tiniest of details, the staff is always friendly, and it is clean all around. We had dinner at Rima Mediterranean Treetop Dining which felt so fancy and romantic. We’ve created wonderful memories at this luxurious resort, Ave even had a bonding sesh with her bestie here during the pandemic.
Shangri-La has a whole bunch of amenities like a nail spa, health club with a gym, pool and beach access, their Regalo boutique for pasalubongs or any other beach essentials, and even an eco centre and adventure zone. They also have one of the nicest entertainment centers we’ve ever seen in the Philippines. This chunk of paradise should definitely be high up on your list if you're looking to splurge on a beach holiday.

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay
Mövenpick is a very special place for us because this is where we celebrated Valentines in 2021. We booked a Premium Junior Suite which had not just 1 but 2 TVs! We felt incredibly blessed to be here. Our first impression was that we felt like we were in the middle of a Brazilian jungle but we were still in Boracay.
Mövenpick may be secluded from other popular spots of Boracay but it definitely makes up for it with all the activities that they offer. You can enjoy some beach volleyball and soccer, rent some paddle boards and kayak, or even swim around their pool which is the biggest swimming pool on the entire island.
We were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner with the best front row seats for golden hour. This place is also special to us because during this dinner we officially launched our Marvekada merch line.
We were later upgraded to a Soul Marina Villa which is a family villa with 2 bedrooms and a private jacuzzi. This resort is incredibly quiet and peaceful with just the symphony of the waves and birds as constant background music.

Belmont Hotel Boracay
Martin’s first time in Boracay was way back in 2020, and for his first visit to the island we decided to stay in Belmont Hotel. For his first impression of Boracay, the beautiful island and white beach blew him away. He was incredibly shocked at how blue the water there is.
Belmont was a great hotel for Martin’s first time in Boracay. Their facilities are first class, their staff is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are luxurious but still cozy.
The property of Belmont is epic, making it a great spot for photo ops. We enjoyed their Filipino and American dishes for breakfast. We also made sure to make use of their Aqua Spa and avail of a relaxing couples massage.

Fairways & Bluewater Boracay
Fairways & Bluewater Boracay has a lot of prestigious awards under its belt, and it even proudly promotes sustainability and responsible tourism. It has been handpicked by Condé Nast Johansens, a famous London based luxury and lifestyle guide. They have received the Best Value Experience Property award for 2024 in the Region (Asia, Africa, Middle East, Oceania). They are pioneers in addressing the plastic management concerns in the Philippines and they also offer eco-friendly transportation around the island. They have also reached the finalist level for the Best for Green Practices and Sustainability in the entire Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Oceania region, for the Condé Nast Awards for Excellence in 2022.
Fairways opens up its private patch of beach for weddings, other romantic events, or just a chill day at the beach. Its property is so large that they even have an 18 hole golf course which has even been used as a venue for international golf events.
While Fairways is a bit more secluded, just like the other places mentioned in this article, it is still close enough to explore the must see spots with ease. This makes the place quite high in demand.
