Boracay’s White Beach Stations
Before we get into the actual accommodation recommendations, it is important to know which area of Boracay you want to stay in in the first place. Step 1 is to choose a location that fits best for you. There are other beaches around Boracay, but White Beach is the most popular spot. It is the quintessential Boracay spot and it is a great starting point for other adventures. It is the perfect place to visit if it is your first time in Boracay, but it’s also a great place to keep coming back to for maximum relaxation.
White Beach is divided into 3 stations: Station 1, Station 2, and Station 3. The accommodation recommendations are located within these three stations. If you are looking for a more private accommodation outside of White Beach, you might want to check out our top 5 luxurious accommodation recommendations off of White Beach.
Each station in Boracay has its own distinct vibe. Here is a really quick general description for each station.
Station 1
Station 1 probably has the best water and sand quality. The sand under your feet feels almost like powdered milk. The water doesn’t get too deep here but that doesn’t make it any less inviting and refreshing. Station 1 has a bit of an exclusive feel to it since it is very spacious and doesn’t tend to get as crowded as other places. At the middle of Station 1 is the iconic Willy’s Rock - a volcanic rock formation that rises out of the water which also has a mini altar and statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary on it. Seeing Willy’s Rock lets you know that you really are in Boracay.
Famous Willy’s Rock at Boracay Island Station 1
Station 2
Station 2 is the center and heart of Boracay. While being a great place to rest and recharge, Boracay also has a thriving nightlife. Boracay was once hailed as the party island of the Philippines. It was a whole lot of fun while it lasted, but it also meant that the beach got very polluted. But after its shut down and rehabilitation in 2018, it was cleaned and the local government has gotten more firm with its rules about cleanliness and keeping the beach clean and beautiful. Despite this, the party spirit never completely left Boracay. Party responsibly in Station 2, the home of many bars and restaurants. Station 2 is also where the famous D’Mall is located. Multiple restaurants and stalls are all placed together to fill your bellies and suitcases with quality purchases for you and your loved ones back at home. Since Station 2 is the central hub of Boracay, it may tend to get crowded, especially during sunset which is a whole spectacle on Boracay.
The center and heart of Boracay island, station 2
Station 3
Station 3 is the last part of White Beach to get developed. It has more greenery than the first two stations. Since this part is the last to be developed, it doesn’t have much of a nightlife to speak of but this makes it a more laidback spot.
Choosing which station to settle down in during your trip is an important part of the planning process, so make sure to think about what your priorities are for your accommodation location. But don’t worry too much because each station is a moderate walk away from each other, or you can take a tricycle ride to get around as well.
Boracay Island, Station 3
Now that you know what each station has to offer, here are our top recommendations for accommodations in each station for varying budget types!
Station 1 Accommodations
Since Station 1 is the more spacious area of Boracay’s White Beach, it is the location of a lot of Boracay’s more upscale accommodations. Many of these places are beachfront properties where the striking blue water is ready to carry you from the minute you open your eyes in the morning. On the opposite side, you also have access to the main road if you want to take a tricycle to other parts of the island instead of strolling along the sand. Luxurious accommodations flock to Station 1 for its prime patch of beach and ideal location to watch the sunset. While there are upscale places here there are also more affordable options within Station 1.
Luxury
Discovery Boracay
One of the first luxury resorts built in Boracay, Discovery offers first class treatment and amenities for all its guests. All 99 guest rooms are spacious suites. They also have three in-house dining options for you to choose from. Crust is the dining option that offers a view of the beach as you munch on their pizzas fresh from the wood-fire oven. It also offers comfort food, other international options, and even fusion dishes. Tartine offers more international options and presents some classic Asian dishes. +36 on the other hand offers masterful drinks like coffee and cocktails. It also offers delicious snacks to munch on while you drink or just to fill the post swim peckish feeling.
Fridays Boracay Resort
The Fridays Boracay Resort tries to exude an old Boracay feel to it with its masterful use of wood and bamboo throughout its architecture and design. These specialty villas have a comforting rustic energy about them which just feels cozy and perfect for the beach. Its location also makes it ideal with a quiet beachfront but still being close enough to other dining options if you are in the mood to explore outside of their on-site restaurant.

One of the top sells of Two Seasons is the barLO Resto Lounge which is famous across all three stations of Boracay’s White Beach. The menu is a mix of European and Asian dishes but it’s most famously known for its oyster sisig and 4 cheese pizza which you are sure to end up craving even after you’ve left Boracay. For all those who enjoy a nice cocktail by the beach, barLO is also known for its long happy hour lasting from 1pm to 6pm. Dine in their beachfront restaurant or unwind in your room and have the food delivered to you without having to wait in line.
Jony’s Beach Resort
Jony’s Beach Resort is a Boracay gem with more affordable prices considering its prime location in Station 1. It’s closer to the edge of Station 1 so it offers both a quiet little space in the sand but also just a few minutes walk away from the rest of the bustling island. Their Maya’s Restaurant offers some delectable Mexican dishes and fruit shakes which have garnered some much deserved hype.

Station 2 Accommodations
If you enjoy a vibrant beach energy, then Station 2 is definitely the place for you! It is the heart of Boracay’s White Beach with the D’Mall shopping centre, where many of the restaurants and bars are located. Station 2 is alive in the day up until late at night. You won’t run out of things to do and checkout over here. Since it is the center, you can also choose whether you want to take a little trip left or right to Station 1 or 3. A fair warning though that since it is the center, it tends to get quite crowded and noisy. Although, if you go further down Station 2, you find a more peaceful spot but are still much closer to the action as compared to Stations 1 and 3. There is a big range of accommodations here which typically cater to those looking for mid-range and budget accommodations.

Station 3 Accommodations
Station 3 could be considered the more peaceful part of Boracay’s White Beach. Station 3 is the last part of White Beach to get developed, this means that you can get a bit more of the island vibe here with more palm trees and plants around as compared to Stations 1 and 2. Station 3 is still able to offer a variety of accommodations that may cater to your personal needs. Nightlife here is not as active so it’s a good choice if you are looking for a more secluded spot. Heads up though that while the water in Stations 1 and 2 stays pretty shallow, the water in Station 3 may become deep quite quick so make sure to be cautious when swimming.
